Tantur Ecumenical Institute, Jerusalem

After participating in a Study Tour of the Holy Land organised by the British Trust for Tantur, I am glad to highlight the work of the Tantur Ecumenical Institute.

The international ecumenical institute for theological and pastoral studies was opened in Tantur, Jerusalem, in 1971. An international ecumenical board oversees it.  Here in the UK the British Trust for Tantur seeks to support and promote the Institute and makes grants to help people to participate in courses and programmes.

The Tantur website  offers information about scholars' programmes, three month continuing education / spiritual renewal programmes and three, four or six week courses at Christmas, Easter, Spring and Summer.

It is possible to negotiate with the Institute to arrange shorter visits for groups.

I pray that many will have this kind of opportunity and blessing.
