Books, bibles, gifts and media
CLC Bookshops (Sheffield) will be providing a good but limited selection of new and backlist titles, top sellers, bibles, music and gifts at the conference. They will also seek to supply books written or recommended by some of our speakers, plus other relevant titles. Payment can be by cash, cheque or card (except AmEx).
Rather than risk not finding on the bookstall what you are wanting, send an email and the item/s will be set aside for you to browse or buy, whether related to the conference theme or not.
You can also contact the bookshop by email or on 0114 2724663 with any question about resources for individuals or churches. Bear in mind that the bookshop may have to order in what you are requesting, so please make your requests known as soon as possible.
CLC Bookshops looks forward to serving you at the conference
CLC? Who are they?
What became CLC was begun in wartorn England in 1941 by WEC missionaries in the garrison town of Colchester as they sought to bring the relevance of the Gospel message to civilians and the armed forces alike. The weapons of their warfare were word of mouth, the Scriptures and Christian literature.
CLC International (UK) – to use the charity's registered name – is part of the global CLC mission in almost 50 countries, dedicated to evangelism and discipleship through personal witness, publishing, distribution and retailing. The mission funds literature projects and ministries around the world from its activities and gift income.
All seventeen UK bookshops run a Partnership Scheme offering discounts and other benefits to churches and organisations. Contact your local branch for the relevant forms.
CLC's online bookshop is run by a partner organisation for now. The mission gets a small percentage referral for sending traffic to our partner. You will benefit from competitive prices, good service and free shipping on orders over £10. For CLC to receive the referral fee, always enter via the website.
CLC will be taking back control of the website from 1 August 2017 and improved benefits for certain customers (eg churches and students) will follow.
