Member Churches of Churches Together in England
This is a definitive list of CTE's Member Churches (some of which are networks or councils of Churches). It is useful for many reasons, from public information to mutual accountability, in relation to school admissions (which we do not encourage) and to appointing chaplains etc, where a criteria is belonging to a 'member church of Churches Together in England'.
CTE Member Churches of Churches Together in England (CTE) are national denominations in England. There are agreed parameters for belonging, and a recognised process for requesting membership. All ecumenical instruments such as CTE are autonomous although networked. Belonging to a Churches Together group or County Body does not automatically give a congregation membership of CTE. Visit schools admissions for a longer explanation.
Visit our Relationships web area for more about some of our Member Churches.
The date in brackets is the date of joining CTE; * indicates a founding member. Read about the CTE story here.
