Inter Faith Resources
We are very pleased to announce that the EHRC’s new guidance on religion or belief in the workplace has now been published.
The guidance is part of a suite of final products from their three-year programme of work on religion or belief.
These consist of:
Online guidance for employers on key religion or belief topics
Online training modules on religion or belief for line managers (developed with ACAS) and union managers (developed with the TUC)
Religion or belief – is the law working? our evaluation of the effectiveness of the religion or belief legal framework
The Inter Faith Network for the UK works to promote understanding, cooperation and good relations between organisations and persons of different faiths in the UK.
It does this through providing opportunities for linking and sharing of good practice, providing advice and information to help the development of new inter faith initiatives and the strengthening of existing ones. It raises awareness within wider society of the importance of inter faith issues and develops programmes to increase understanding about faith communities, including both their distinctive features and areas of common ground.
The Inter Faith Network's member bodies include national faith community representative bodies; national, regional and local inter faith organisations; and academic institutions and bodies concerned with multi faith education.
The Inter Faith Theological Advisory Group is a theological task group that resources the wider ecumenical work across the Four Nations in the area of the churches' engagement with issues of religious plurality.
Its purpose is to resource different aspects of ecumenical work, and is an advisory group of Churches Together in Britain & Ireland.
This page has replaced the section of the website devoted to Inter Faith resources.
At present, we do not have a CTE Staff member responsible for IF networks
although Bishop Dr Joe Aldred
represents CTE on various Inter Faith committees.
